Week 1, starting the journey

hello everyone,
This is my first step on creating a blog, I think it`s similar to what we do in our school with our notebooks to record what things we have done or learnt througth this class. Till now I have great expectations with the class and the instructors. The thing I like the most is the idea f sharing ideas, thoughts and opinions with people who likes what I like most.... English and isn`t because we all use the language to communicate only and if you add technology our practices can be more interesting for our students. So at this point this first week has been very engaging for me, someone who doesn`t use to much tech on classes.
But I realize when something starts like this, it gives me the idea that at the end of the course I will feel rewarded and satisfy with my learning and all the things that my classmates and the teachers share with me.
I wolud like to finish my first post using a quote:

"The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change.Carl Rogers

See you all soon. bye.

  1. Hi Ricardo,

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts. The fact that we are here means that we are in search of something new. And another quote belonging to Socrates comes into my mind: "I know that I know nothing". The more we learn, the more we want to learn. Isn't it great?

  2. Hi Ricardo: I believe you are correct, that at the end of the class you will feel satisfied. You will have worked hard, but learned something valuable. That is what others form past classes seem to say anyway.

Can you please turn off 'word verification' on your blog to make it easier to add comments. It is item #6 on the instruction sheet. The link to the sheet is:

    Thanks!

  3. Hi, Ricardo,

I try to read as many blogs as possible to know how teachers feel towards the course, how they share their opinions. I like the way you arrange your thoughts and reflections. I believe we shall learn a lot by the end of this terrific course!
    Good luck!
